Susan Haworth, 80, of Story City, Iowa, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2023 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.
Susan May Haworth was born on July 18, 1942 to George and Marjorie (Smith) Haworth in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She graduated in 1960 from Decatur County School in Leon, Iowa. She went on to get her Bachelor's Degree from Northwest Missouri State University.
She was an accomplished artist and loved to paint and draw. She enjoyed watching movies from her extensive film collection and an avid reader. Susan was a big fan of following movie stars and knowing what films they were in and about their personal lives.
She is survived by her children: Jennifer Phillips of Story City, Iowa; Ryder (Patricia) Phillips of Plainwell, Michigan and Rodney (Rachel) Phillips of Creston, Iowa. Grandchildren: MacKenzie, Selena, Joseph, Keely and Tera and Brothers Roger Haworth and David Haworth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Shelby Phillips; and Sister Carol Ekelberry.
Susan was a dear friend and lots of fun
