Justin Schiermeister, 51, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Israel Hospice House in Ames, Iowa.
Justin is survived by his sons Michael (22) and Greysen (4), his mother Dianne, sisters Brenda Swanson and Tammy, niece Jessica, and nephew Levi. He is preceded in death by his father Kenny. Justin graduated Mason City High School in 1990 and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his sons.

A memorial service will be held on March 11, 2023 at St. James Lutheran Church 1148 4th St SE, Mason City, IA 50401. Visitation 10-11am, service 11am, and a luncheon to follow.

I am truly sorry for your loss! We got to be close friends since we lived in the same apartment building for 2 years. He helped me out a few times with minor repairs! So glad we got to see him and let him know that we were grand parents!! Will miss seeing and laughing with him! Will miss seeing pics on FB of his life as a dad and a fur baby dad!! RIP my friend!!
