Amy Valline, 92, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Rolling Green Village in Nevada.
A celebration of Amy's life will tentatively be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 27, 2023, at McFarland Park in Ames, Iowa.
Amy Anne Valline was born January 7, 1930, in Ames, Iowa to Galen Wesley "Gramp" and Elizabeth "Deeg" Valline. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, eating chocolate and dancing to country music. Most of all, Amy loved helping raise and spending time with her many grandchildren.
Amy is survived by her children, Susan Anderson Whip of Ames, Mathew Winters McKinley of Bushnell, NE, and Sarah Winters of Cheyanne, WY, and many grandchildren and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her sons, Mark Anderson, and Mike Anderson; and siblings, Bill Valline, Betty Linder, and Barb Thomas.

Amy had the best sense of humor of anyone I've ever known. She was generous, kind, and loved sharing homemade goodies she had made! I could sit and listen to her stories for hours! She lived one heck of a life! God bless her and her family.
Amy was truly one of a kind. I loved her dearly and am so glad I got to spend a few years with her. Thank you for sharing her with me. I will miss her so very much.
My Mom Amy was my best friend, I'm going to miss her dearly 😢 💔. She may now rest in peace 🙏.
