Malane G. Faulkner, age 80, of Boone, Iowa, died Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, Iowa.

Born March 1, 1941, in Dalton, Georgia, Malane was the daughter of Edward and Margaret (Collins) Glaze. She grew up and received her education in Georgia and later lived in California and Texas, and eventually made her home in Iowa. Malane enjoyed handicrafts and was a talented seamstress.
Survivors include two sons, David (Dr. Lisa Grigs-McDonald) McDonald of Dalton, GA, and Zachary (Melissa) McDonald of Irwin; a step-daughter, Bobbie Hughkill of San Antonio, TX; five grandchildren, James, Elizabeth, Caitlin, Greg, and Philip; one great-granddaughter, Ellie; a nephew, Kip Glaze of Georgia; as well as other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Steve Glaze.
Ames Monument & Cremation Center has been entrusted with the care of Malane and her family.
